New Delhi: If the Indian cricket team's star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin takes three more wickets in the Delhi Test match, then he will achieve a special achievement in Test cricket. The first Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia was played in Nagpur from February 9, in which India won in just 3 days. Team India won this match by an inning and 132 runs. In this match, Ashwin took the maximum number of wickets for India.

Ashwin took 3 wickets in the first innings, while 5 wickets in the second innings. Now if Ashwin takes three more wickets in the second Test match going to be started from February 17, then his 100 Test wickets against Australia will be completed. Ashwin will be the second Indian bowler after Anil Kumble to take 100 or more Test wickets against Australia. Let us tell you that Anil Kumble has taken 111 wickets in 38 innings of 20 Test matches against Australia.

At the same time, Ashwin has so far taken 97 wickets in 36 innings of 19 matches. Overall, the world record for taking the most Test wickets against Australia is in the name of England's Eoin Botham.
