After receiving mixed reviews, the film went on to rake in Rs 6 crore on day 1 which was exactly what the trade pundits had predicted John Abraham and Mouni Roy starrer Romeo Akbar Walter has fared ordinarily at the Indian box office so far. The spy thriller directed by Robby Grewal hasn't got cash registers ringing like crazy but it's still doing fairly at the ticket windows.. John starrer performed much better over the first weekend but on Monday, the film witnessed a shard drop as it minted Rs 3 crore.
So approximately the total five-day collection of RAW stands at Rs 27.82 crore . On day 5, the collections dipped further as Romeo Akbar Walter managed to clock in Rs 2.75 crore according to BollywoodHungama.. Going by the buzz it created. John's film should have done much better numbers in order to ensure a good lifetime collection.

Further, a report in Boxofficeindia.com has noted, "Romeo Akbar Walter dropped 10% on Tuesday which is a normal drop but the film is not going anywhere. The film will do better business than the likes of Force 2 and Rocky Handsome but that is about it. The first week will be in the 29.50-30 crore nett range."
Though currently there is hardly any competition at the box office, next week Karan Johar's magnum opus Kalank is arriving in the cinema halls. Since the film is releasing on Wednesday, RAW will have to rake in as much money as possible before that. Because after KJo's film hits the screens, it will be difficult for John's espionage thriller to stay afloat at the doemstic box office.
