RAW box-office collection: John Abraham starrer witnesses a fair jump

John Abraham’s RAW - Romeo Akbar Walter is reciving negative response from the audience. The movie opened to a low Rs 5 crore but has witnessed a fair jump on its day 2 earning Rs 7 crore, taking its two day total to a decent Rs 12 crore. The growth in collections is more than 30 per cent which is good enough for the film to be in the running at the box office. 

According to reports in the BoxofficeIndia.com, John’s  action thriller collected Rs 7 crore on its first Saturday, taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 12.25 crore. The film set the cash registers ringing at the box-office on its first day by collecting Rs 5.25 crore, showing a 30 percent growth on its second day.

RAW  follows the journey of an Indian secret agent, played by John, during the 1971 India-Pakistan war that led to the birth of Bangladesh. It was the subcontinent's most decisive battle, in which the Pakistan Army surrendered to the Indian Army and is popularly remembered as the time when the intelligence agencies played a crucial part in India's calculated and clinical victory over Pakistan.
