Today;RBI has fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66.8943 against the US dollar and 72.9750 for the euro.
As per the statement released by RBI, “exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were 81.9589 and 64.40 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon”
Statement added, “The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate”
