Today;Reserve Bank of India fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 67.0550 against the dollar, and 74.3640 for the euro.
These rates were at 67.2362 and 73.8859 respectively from Wednesday.
As per the RBI statement,"the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 88.4254 and 64.07 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon"
The statement further added, "The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate"
