New Delhi: Many fraud cases have been reported in big banks. These frauds have mostly taken place in public sector banks. Questions are now being raised about the system of public sector banks. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has given a statement on this. He has assured the people that the entire banking system, including cooperative banks, is completely strong and stable. After the scandal in Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative Bank, the situation arising out of rumors about banks. After the arrest of its directors, questions are also being raised about the working of cooperative banks.

The RBI governor said after reviewing the monetary policy that the Reserve Bank is reviewing the existing regulatory framework for cooperative banks. The bank will soon talk to the government in this regard. This statement of the Reserve Bank Governor is also important because the PMC was brought under the administration of the Reserve Bank this year. Many types of regulatory and administrative disturbances were found in this bank. Political interference in the functioning of this bank was also found on a large scale.

Talking to reporters, Das said that sometimes rumours spread panic among people. Das appealed to the public not to ignore such rumors. He clearly said that the entire cooperative banking sector should not be questioned due to any single incident. He assured that RBI would not allow any cooperative bank to sink.
