New Delhi: RBI has announced to issue new notes of Rs 50. The new note of Rs 50 will be in the fluorescent blue color. The new notes will be of Mahatma Gandhi series. It will be a picture of the temple of Hampi with the chariot in the rear.
RBI tweeted:
After issuing notes of 500 and 2000 rupees on 8th November, this is the first new note that the RBI has made the official announcement to bring.
Special in note of 50 rupees:
- The color of the new note is fluorescent blue.
- It will have the photo of Mahatma Gandhi in the middle.
- It will also have 50 written in Devanagari.
- It will be written in India and RBI on security thread.\
- The note will be written in the micro-letters like RBI, India, INDIA and 50.
- The Ashok pillar will be on the right-hand side of the note.
- ]At the top left side, there will be numbers going up from the small to the number panel and the numbers on the right side will also be printed.
- The dimension of the new note will be 66 mm x135 mm.
