Today;Reserve Bank of India has fixed the rupee’s reference rate at 66.9368 against the US dollar and 74.9893 for the euro.
These rates were at 66.7612 and 74.5990 respectively from Tuesday.
As per the RBI statement,“the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 89.0126 and 66.26 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon”
Further the statement added that, “The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate”
