The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday,today fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66.7609 against the USD and 75.7202 for the euro.These rates were 66.5977 and 76.0612 respectively on Thursday.
As per the RBI statement, “the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 96.1557 and 61.47 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.”
Statement added, “The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate”
