RBI has made it clear that such emails and messages are never sent to anyone on its behalf. RBI has said that no information, such as winning the lottery or coming from abroad, is sent through email and ESS. The central bank has said that in the name of the Reserve Bank, fack emails are sent. People should not pay much attention to them. But if you have to avoid such fraud cases, you must find out from which address the email came from. These things need more attention.
