It’s been about a decade since the split of Reliance Inc. The two Ambani brothers had parted their ways, and this split was named as the India Inc’s most high profile split. However the dream of their father Late Dhirubhai Ambani has brought them together again, maybe only virtually.

"Anil Ambani & Mukesh Ambani is working hand in hand to create the India Shri Dhirubhai Ambani dreamt of," said the Rcom spokesperson.

The two companies will now be sharing each other’s telecom infrastructure, under which comes, Mobile towers, optical fibre networks and spectrum of Rcom and electronics and 4G LTE services of RJio, as told by Mr. Anil Ambani to their shareholders in a meeting.

This merger, however, should not be confused with a legal merger by the companies as it is termed as “Virtual Merger” by the younger sibling on the Ambani family. The only thing that is collaborating is that  from now on, Rcom customers can enjoy 4G services like that of RJio and RJio customers(when required) can now operate in 2G and 3G networks as they might find convenient.
