Patna: There are reports of everything not going well between Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Union Minister RCP Singh these days. RCP Singh has now broken the silence while answering the question related to this. RCP Singh's Rajya Sabha term is about to end next month. There are reports that Nitish Kumar is reluctant to make him a Rajya Sabha candidate from the party again. On Tuesday, RCP Singh returned to Patna from Delhi. In response to a question on the souring in relations with Nitish Kumar in Rajya Sabha elections here, he said, 'I have good relations with everyone including you journalists.'

Let us tell you that RCP Singh's seat is included in the 5 seats of Rajya Sabha from Bihar where elections are to be held. Union Minister RCP Singh, who joined the Narendra Modi cabinet a year ago, is running for the second consecutive term in the Rajya Sabha. The same RCP Singh is a former IAS officer of UP cadre. He took voluntary retirement to join politics. Earlier, after Nitish Kumar assumed power in Bihar, RCP had been his principal secretary for a long time. RCP Singh, a resident of Nitish Kumar's home district Nalanda, comes from the Kurmi caste. He had joined Janata Dal United in the year 2010.

Then he was made the party's national president after Nitish Kumar. Then a few months after joining the Union Council of Ministers, he left the post of National President (JDU). All is not well between RCP Singh and the current National President of JDU, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh. Due to this, RCP Singh is finding it difficult to get another term of Rajya Sabha from Janata Dal United. It is said that RCP Singh's inclination towards the Bharatiya Janata Party has increased, due to which Nitish Kumar is also uncomfortable. The relationship between Nitish and the Bharatiya Janata Party has also been strained for some time.
