Gajwel: Launching the two-day 'Dalit Dandora Deeksha' at Mudu Chintapalli, adopted village of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of Gajwel assembly constituency, Telangana Congress President A Revanth Reddy alleged that all KCR's promises were false, after the formation of Telangana. Not a single assurance was given to the people. If his claims on the development of the state are proved wrong, he will step down as an MP.

“The Chief Minister adopted Lakshmapur, Chinna Mulkanur villages and made big promises. Practically, they remained undeveloped. In one village, the government demolished the houses of the poor to build two-bedroom houses but failed. As a result, people were forced to stay on the streets,” Revanth said. He said, the launch of 'Dalit Bandhu' was just a political stunt to win the by-election to Huzurabad assembly constituency. After the results are out, the chief minister will release the Dalit brother and make some more false promises.

"He is ready for an open debate on development and if his claim turns out to be false, he is ready to resign from his Lok Sabha membership," Revanth said. "Telangana also got into financial trouble due to the unilateral policies adopted by KCR. Every person in the state has a debt of Rs 1 lakh, he said. The TPCC chief slammed KCR for neglecting the welfare of the families of Telangana martyrs. Around 1,200 workers sacrificed their lives during the Telangana movement. Job opportunities were not given to the youth, education opportunities for the poor were not improved." Funds were laundered by the KCR family. The river water allotted to Telangana was exploited by neighboring Andhra and the youth in Telangana were left jobless."
