Realme Mobiles has confirmed that the 64-megapixel smartphone will be launched soon. The company's CEO Madhav Seth shared a photo in a tweet. This photo is taken from a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor. This photo is taken in the landscape mode. On the other hand, it has been claimed that the sensor will be launched in India first. Samsung has described the sensor as the industry's highest resolution sensor for mobile cameras.

If you talk about the Samsung GW1 sensor, it's 1/3. Comes with a 1.72-inch sensor and 1.6-micron pixels size. The sensor was launched last month. The sensor is capable of photographing low-light with a size of 16 micron pixels. It works on Samsung's Tetracell technology. This sensor supports real-time HDR of up to 100db. The sensor also captures 1080p slow-motion video. The new sensor will offer high-resolution images on mobile devices compared to any other sensor. The 64-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor is the highest resolution sensor in the company's 0.8m-pixel image sensor lineup. It works on pixel-merging tetracell technology to capture 16 megapixelimages of low-light. Also, 64 megapixels image can be taken in more light. It can be merged into 4 pixels one.
