New Delhi: Alka Lamba, who reached the assembly on the ticket of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Delhi's Chandni Chowk in the last assembly election, returned to Congress on Saturday. Lamba has subscribed to the party in the presence of PC Chacko, the Congress in-charge of party affairs in Delhi.

Lamba, who started her politics from the National Student Organization of India (NSUI), the student union of the Congress, joined the AAP in 2015 and was elected MLA from Chandni Chowk. Giving information about joining Congress by tweeting, he said that today he reached Congress headquarters 24 Akbar Road and took membership of Congress in presence of PC Chacko, District Chandni Chowk President Usman Ji, District Adarsh Nagar President Jindalji and other leaders.
