Kochi: Winter is slowly coming in North India, then rain in South India has changed the mood of the weather once again. Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have been continuously raining, due to which flood-like conditions have arisen in many areas. A red alert has been issued for Tuesday in South India, as well as a holiday has been announced in many schools.

The Meteorological Department has issued Orange and Yellow Alerts in some areas of Karnataka, while Red Alerts have been issued in the marine areas. There have been continuous rains in Karnataka for the last few days, due to which flood-like conditions have arisen in some areas. Due to heavy rains in Karnataka, the conditions are bad in districts like Dharwad, Belagavi, Kalaburgi, Vijayapura, Bagalkote, Shivamogga, houses and schools have also been flooded in these areas. In many of these areas, due to floods in August, the condition had worsened. The Meteorological Department said that in Belagavi from Sunday evening to Monday morning, 58.1 mm rain has been recorded.

A warning has been issued in Karnataka as well as in Kerala. Red alert is going on in Kerala and people are being evacuated from where the chances of rain are high. Fishermen in marine areas have been advised to remain safe. Tourists have been banned in Thiruvananthapuram and areas connected to the sea area.
