New Delhi: The 6-day mega event "Bharat Parv" was inaugurated on Thursday at Red Fort lawns by the Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and DoNER GK Reddy, read a press release by the Ministry of Tourism.

The theme of the Calendar for 2023 is "The Incredible Festivals of India". Reddy unveiled the Incredible India digital calendar of the Ministry of Tourism at the event. 

On one occasion, Reddy said that the Republic Day celebrations today will energise the young generation to work for the betterment of the country. He further stated that Bharat Parv embodies the concept of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat by bringing together artists, craftsmen, and food stalls from all around India. He went on to say that Bharat Parv is like a little India. He also said that this year's Bharat Parv is promoting millets and highlighting the accomplishments of several ministries.

Arvind Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, stated on the occasion that this year's Bharat Parv brings together the dynamic rich culture of Bharat with participation from over 30 States/UTs and 20 Central Ministries at this historic location.

As part of the Republic Day celebrations, the Government of India is planning the six-day mega event "Bharat Parv" from January 26 to 31, 2023.
