Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its new budget smartphone, the Redmi 13 5G, in India on July 9 at 12 noon. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has shared several key specifications of the device, including details about its processor, battery, and charging capabilities.

The launch date and key details about the Redmi 13 5G were revealed through an Amazon microsite, as first reported by Gizmochina. The microsite showcased the design and other essential features of this upcoming budget smartphone.

The Redmi 13 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, the same as its predecessor. It will feature a 5,030 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The teaser images also show that the Redmi 13 5G will have a glass sandwich design, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. Additionally, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 13 5G will come with its latest HyperOS pre-installed.

Expected Price in India
While Xiaomi has not yet announced the official pricing for the Redmi 13 5G in India, we can estimate the price range based on its predecessor, the Redmi 12 5G. The Redmi 12 5G was priced at Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant, Rs. 12,499 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant, and Rs. 14,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant.

Given that the Redmi 13 5G uses the same processor as the Redmi 12 5G, it is likely that the pricing will be similar, with possible minor adjustments. However, the exact pricing will be confirmed on July 9.
