Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi has launched another budget smartphone Redmi 8A in India today. This smartphone will be challenged with the Vivo U10 launched in India tomorrow. Even before the launch of Redmi 8A, the company has announced to sell its previous model at a lower price. Users will be able to buy the Redmi 7A at a festive sale starting September 29 for Rs 4,999.
This smartphone was also launched in India this year. The launch event of Redmi 8A will be streamed live on the company's official social media platform and Youtube today. The company has been teasing this smartphone on the e-commerce website for the past few days. According to the features that have come out of this smartphone so far, a strong battery and USB Type C port can also be provided for fast charging.

Sharing his statement with everyone, the company's Global Vice President Manu Jain has also talked about having USB Type C charging jack in his official tweeter handle. However, there is no official disclosure about any other features of the phone at the moment.
According to its promo teas, it will have an HD Plus display with Waterdrop Notch. Apart from this, it can also be launched with a physical fingerprint sensor and camera set up with single rear Sony IMX363 sensor. The company has been designing this series specifically for entry-level users. All the previous models of this series have been liked by the users a lot.

This smartphone was launched at an initial price of Rs 5,999. Redmi 8A can also be launched at a price of Rs 6,999.
