Reema Lagoo, who has worked in many of bollywood's best films and TV shows, was born on this day. Reema was born on June 21, 1958 and is no longer in this world. Reema started her film career by dubbing films in Marathi films. She first got a chance in Hindi films by Shyam Benegal in the 80s. The film was Kalyug. She made a place in the hearts of the people by working in this film. Soon she became an immortal character in films and without her the film started looking incomplete. Reema Lagoo played the role of a mother at the age of 30 and made a mark on the hearts of the audience by constantly playing the role.

Reema Lagoo acted in Aamir Khan's 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' which became a superhit film. Reema was seen playing the role of a mother in the film and this is where she started playing the role of a mother in films which went on in many films. Reema Lagoo also played the mother of stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh, Govinda, Madhuri, Juhi Chawla in her career and became a super hit by playing the mother of all.

You must have seen him in the film 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun'. She played Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan's mother in the film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' from where her character became famous. Reema Lagoo is also known for films like 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Kal Ho Na Ho', 'Yes Boss', 'Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon'. She passed away in May 2017.
