Mindy Kaling, a mother of two daughters, Katherine and Spencer, has commended her close friend and actress Reese Witherspoon for teaching her the value of "making time" for herself in order to be a better parent to her children.

"Because she is so lively and entertaining and extremely busy," she added, "Reese Witherspoon is always such a fantastic source of parenting advice." She has three children as well as a full-time job. She's an actress, the CEO of this firm, a producer, and everything else.

"She's someone who always gives me sound advice, and I believe she's the one who taught me the value of taking care of myself in order to be a good parent to my children."She also praised Witherspoon for her "very clever" financial decisions, according to the press.

"The second thing about Reese is that she's simply extremely brilliant at money," she told People magazine. "That's something that people might not know, but she loves to invest." She's also quite astute about it. "That isn't strictly parenting advice, but I believe she is doing so in order to care for her children and ensure their futures... She's really talented in this area."

Kaling recently stated that being pregnant with her baby during the Covid-19 epidemic last year was a blessing since it allowed her to hide from the public.
