June 6,2016: The Reserve Bank of India fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66.9614 against the US dollar and 75.9409 for the euro. These rates were 67.2415 and 74.9944 respectively, last Friday.
As per the RBI statement, "the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 96.17 and 62.60 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon."
Statement further added, "the SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate"
