Between the Russia-Ukraine war, the trouble has increased over the students of India who are stranded there. The government is working to evacuate them safely from Ukraine. Many Indians have been evacuated from Ukraine, but many are still hoping for help. The Embassy of India in Ukraine has reported that 15,000 Indian students are stranded. Meanwhile, a debate has started on social media over the tweet of a retired IPS officer and a former DGP of Kerala.

In fact, the name of the former IPS officer who tweeted about the evacuation of Indian people from Ukraine is Dr C N.C. Asthana. He tweeted: "The Government of India has an only moral responsibility, no legal responsibility for the evacuation of students in Ukraine. Stop criticizing the government for no reason. They went for their personal selfishness. If an Indian is in crisis in Antarctica or in the deep sea, should the Indian government evacuate him?"

This tweet of the former IPS officer sparked a war on social media. Many people reacted to his tweet. @Mihir23760756 "With this logic, the Government of India unnecessarily destroyed its resources by evacuating 1.7 lakh persons from Kuwait in 1990 by air in the wake of the Iraq-Kuwait conflict, because all of them went there to earn more money than they wanted," writes NC Asthana. Will not make the full effort. But if a person gets a casualty because of this, the Government of India cannot be blamed. Understand the difference between mercy and legal obligation, Lord. Spend crores in mercy, but it can't be done by hitting the rod. There are some barriers to the war zone."
