Many Tollywood stars have missed working in movies because of the pandemic that kept everyone inside their homes. Regina Cassandra is one of the stars who missed it. She is a new generation actress in Telugu and Tamil, who is incubating the silver screen on fire with her perfect selection of scripts.  Regina’s recent movies will give an insight into her excellent acting intrepidity with movies like Awe!, Evaru and 7. Due to the lockdown, all her profession was put on a halt from at least 5 months.

During a recent media interaction, the Nakshatram actress opened about her lockdown phase and said, “Due to this Coronavirus scare, staying at home for so long has made me feel as if I have retired from cinema.  I undertook my exercises on the terrace and now feel all that one does after one retires, I have done it during these past few months (sic.)” However, the Evaru actress kept herself involved by rearing a dog and playing with the kids in the neighboring apartments, watching movies over TV and playing cards.

With the film industry slowly hobbling back to normalcy, Regina is keen to get back with her hectic schedule. On the work front, Regina Cassandra is working on a woman-centric thriller drama with great Director Caarthick Raju. The film is a Tamil Telugu bilingual. In Tamil, it is titled Soorpanagai and in Telugu, it is titled Nene Naa. The Awe! actress will also be shaking a leg with Chiranjeevi in a special song on the upcoming Siva Koratala film, Acharya.
