New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be held in July 2020 from today. Candidates can register by visiting the website ctet.nic.in. CBSE will conduct this examination on 5 July 2020. The deadline for registration is only until February 24, 2020. However, the application fee can be paid till 3.30 pm on February 27, 2020.
How to apply online?
- Visit CTET's official website ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the link 'Apply Online'.
- Fill the application form and write the registration / application number.
- Upload scanned photo and signature.
- Pay the invoice, debit / credit card fee.
- Print the confirmation page for the record.
What is the payment fee?
Rs.1,000 for General / OBC- Paper 1 or Paper 2. 1200 if both papers are to be given.
SC / ST / Divyang- Rs 500 for Paper 1 or Paper 2. 600 if both papers are to be given.
The examination will be conducted in 2 shifts. In the first shift, the paper will run from 1-9:30 am to 12 noon. In the second shift, the paper will be taken from 2 pm-2 pm to 4.30 pm. Every candidate who has done a teacher's course can apply for this exam. To pass the examination, the applicants of the general category have to score 60 percent in the examination. On the other hand, reserved category applicants will have to get 55 percent marks.
