Sridevi took her last breath on February 24 in Dubai, 2018. And her mortal remains arrived in Mumbai last night. Almost all the celebrities come under one roof to pay last respect to Sridevi. Like Rekha, Manish Malhotra and Vidya Balan attended the veteran actor's condolence meet. Veteran actor Sridevi's sudden and unfortunate death left Bollywood in a state of shock. The actor was only 54 when she breathed her last on February 24, 2018. She had a fainting spell in her hotel bathroom and died due to accidental drowning, in Dubai.

 Amongst those who came for the condolence meet to pay their last respects were Rekha, Manish Malhotra, Vidya Balan and Siddharth Kapur. Vidya Balan always considered Sridevi her idol and inspiration. In fact, in her current movie Tumhari Sulu, she recreated Sridevi’s iconic song, Hawa Hawaii. Sridevi had been extremely supportive of it, she had then said, “I’m very pleased that one of my favourite songs is filmed on one of my favourites, the adorable Vidya. I wish her all the best.” After Sridevi’s demise, a heartbroken Vidya had posted, “My inspiration is no more”
 
Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan professionally known as Sridevi was an Indian actress and film producer who starred in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Regarded as Hindi cinema's first "female superstar", she was the recipient of two Filmfare Awards and three Filmfare Awards South. Sridevi ranked amongst the highest-paid actors in the 1980s and 1990s and is considered to be one of the most popular actresses in Indian cinema.
