New Delhi: Rekha Singh, wife of Deepak Singh, who was martyred in the bloody conflict with the Chinese Army in the Galvan Valley in June 2020 between India and China, joined the Indian Army on Saturday. He has passed out from Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai. Rekha is among the 40 women participating in the parade. After completion of her training, she has been inducted into the Indian Army.

Tell that, after the sacrifice of husband Deepak Singh, Rekha had taken a vow that she would join the army and serve the country. For this reason, she left the job of government teacher and started working hard for the army, today she has joined the army. Let us inform that Rekha Singh's husband Deepak attained Veergati during the Galvan struggle. Talking to the media, Rekha Singh said that after the martyrdom of husband Deepak, I decided to join the Indian Army and then took training for it.

She said that today my training has been completed, and I am feeling very proud. Because I have become lieutenant. Rekha said that, I would like to tell all the women that they should trust themselves and do what they want to do. Let us tell you that two years ago in June 2020, there was a violent clash between the Indian Army and the Chinese Army in the Galvan Valley. In this skirmish, 20 Indian soldiers had attained Veergati. In which Deepak Singh was also included.
