On this matter, SHO Suresh Jat has told that the father of the minor victim had appeared in the police station and lodged an FIR under the Pocso Act that her in-laws first harassed her for dowry and also her brother-in-law has raped her. The police is also investigating the demand for dowry in this case. Apart from this, the police officer told that after registering the case and investigating, then everything was found to be correct.
After getting the victim's medical test done, the accused has been arrested and sent to jail. He will be produced in the court on Thursday. The minor told the police that he was repeatedly tortured for dowry.
