Telecom and IT giant Reliance Jio has announced a long-term partnership with US leading technology company Microsoft. Under this partnership, data from Indian users will be stored in India. At the 42nd AGM meeting of Reliance, the company's chairman Mukesh Ambani announced this. , in which the country will be digitally transformed. Under this new partnership, Reliance will set up a World Class data center network that will work with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
In his statement, Ambani further said, "When we have come together, we can create a platform for speech recording, natural language understanding, and Indian languages in India. This will boost the Azure Cloud Computing business in India. Also, Microsoft Azure Artificial Intelligence and Office 365 will support Jio's connectivity and digital solutions. Together we will create a comprehensive technology solution that will help small and medium-sized businesses with storage connectivity and productivity in the country.
