Reliance retail is looking to hold a good position in the budget segments of Indian smartphone industry. Lyf series is all about budget smartphones with minimal specifications and feel of the smartphone. It is basically targeted for the transition customers which will be upgrading from basic mobile phone segment to smartphones.
Reliance Lyf 8 is the another addition to their catalogue of Lyf series. It is going to dual sim phone supporting 4G LTE and running with android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The device will be available to purchase from the company retail stores across the country.
The Lyf F8 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
In terms of optics, the Lyf F8 comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera, coupled with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfies.The smartphone houses a 2000mAh battery and is available in two colour options - Black and Blue. In terms of connectivity, the Lyf F8 offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options. The Lyf F8 measures 132.6x66.2x9.3mm and weighs 138 grammes.
The smartphone comes with "Swift Gesture Control" feature that allows users to launch the camera app, control the music player, and access apps directly from lock screen using gestures.
