Religious places in Maharashtra have reopened after being closed for nearly six months due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The Chief Minister further said, "He prayed to Mumba Devi to completely end the corona virus-borne epidemic.'

On the other hand, BJP Legislative Council member Niranjan Dawkhare visited the temple of the famous Ghantali Devi in Thane and paid obeisance. Many devotees in traditional attire also visited the temple to pay obeisance. A musical programme was organized at Mahalaxmi Temple at Dahanu in Palghar district and Vajreshwari Temple in Vasai.
