The coronavirus is being spread rapidly these days. The black marketing of beneficial Remedisvir drug in the treatment of this virus is also increasing rapidly. In Tamil Nadu, the work of selling a bottle of Remdesvir worth Rs 3,000 to 5,000 is going on in the black market for about Rs 13,000. There is a sufficient amount of medicine in government hospitals here, but there are reports that there is a shortage of medicine in private hospitals. If this happens, in many places, the doctors themselves are giving the agent's number to the relatives of the patients.

The drug of American company 'Gilead', Remdesvir is proving beneficial in the treatment of coronavirus patients. Along with this, three Indian companies have entered into an agreement with Gilead to manufacture and sell a generic version of Remdesvir in India. According to the information received, Cipla has named its medicine as Cipremi. Talking about its price, it is Rs 4,000. Hetero is making this drug under the name Covifor and its price is being said to be Rs 5,400. The medicine of Mylan has not yet come in the market.

Talking about the Government of Tamil Nadu, here is buying a vial of Ramdesvir for Rs 3,100, and GST is charged separately at 12%. Here MRP of this vial is Rs 5,000 and GST is also being levied separately on this. A recent investigation has revealed that a Coimbatore agent claiming to be an employee of a private hospital is selling a vial for Rs 13,000. When he was asked from where he got the medicine despite the shortage, he said that he bought it directly from the manufacturer. In this way, the work of black marketing is increasingly seen.
