Dehradun: On the second day of the first session of the 5th Assembly of Uttarakhand, the vote on account submitted by the government will be passed today. On Tuesday, the House had to be cancelled due to the sharp remarks of the opposition. Today the government arrived with full preparation. The same House will first begin with a tribute to former MLAs Harbans Kapoor and Gopal Ojha. Then, two Ordinances can also be introduced as Bills on behalf of the Government. Earlier on Tuesday, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee was held under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan.

During the same assembly session, the death of MLA Harbans Kapoor was condoled. Due to this, minister Ganesh Joshi was shocked to remember Harbans Kapoor. He became very emotional. This was probably the first time in the Assembly that Congress had landed in the House without a leader of the opposition. Congress is yet to determine the leader of the opposition in the legislature party meeting.

The result was that none of its members could participate in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee. In the wake of the session, senior MLAs Pritam Singh and Yashpal Arya were seen raising questions on behalf of the party. On the second day of the first session of the Assembly, governor Lt Gen (retd) Gurmeet Singh's address is being discussed. Earlier, tributes were paid to former MLAs Harbans Kapoor and Gopal Ojha.
