The 50th death anniversary of Raj Kapoor, the man who was named as the Showman of Hindi Cinema. 
The actor, the filmmaker had established himself at the young age of 24. He is one among the lot of actors who wanted the women to showcase their beauty on the screen, by this, he made the Indian cinema even bolder. 
Raj Kapoor chose his heroines very wisely. Some of them were -Nimmi, Vyjayanthimala, Zeenat Aman, Padmini Kolhapure, Nargis and Madhubala. 
Now, this is a coincidence or pure obsession but all the heroines in his films wore white saree at least once for his films.

He was always loved and adored by women. 
The couple had already done about 16 movies together, the chemistry was rocking already. During the mid 20th century the romance between Nargis and Raj Kapoor had grown strong. By the time things were stirred up between the two, Raj Kapoor was already married and couldn’t leave his family for her and therefore they got separated.
The onscreen Jodi was such a charming one that everyone wanted them to be together but I guess God had different plans for them.

It was rumoured that Nargis left raj Kapoor because of his all-time interests in other women. When Zeenat came for auditioning in the movie ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ she was immediately liked by Raj Kapoor and things started right there between the two. 

Nargis immediately accepted Sunil Dutt’s marriage proposal and the sudden wedding was the news of the day.
