Popular actress Tunisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide on Saturday. The actress hanged herself on the set of a serial in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district. The 20-year-old went to the washroom on the set and did not return for a long time. When the door was broken down, she was found hanging inside. Sheezan Mohammed Khan, Co-star of actor Tunisha Sharma was arrested after a case of abutment to suicide was registered against him.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Neha Mehta who played the role of Anjali Mehta in the show reacted to her death she said, “I was reminded of the Balika Vadhu girl Pratyusha Banerjee . Just days before her death, she came to my sets and had asked for a hug. I even met Tunisha two months ago at a clinic and she told me she was my fan and I could only say that I am her fan as well. I have no clue what happened, she was wonderful.” 

The actress said, “All of us have to bear with life's struggles, but let us all shine in brightest colours. I am here with the blessings of my parents, so stay connected with your family, stay rooted. Do not rush in life. Success is within, not without.” She also talked about the importance of paying attention to our close ones and asked ‘where were we? We, who meet in coffee shops and cannot see through the eyes?'

On the career front the actress with started working with ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap’ and later featured in shows such as ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’, ‘Gabbar Poonchwala’, ‘Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh’, ‘Internet Wala Love’ and ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’. She has also featured  ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’, and ‘Dabangg 3’. She film and featured in ‘Pyaar Ho Jaayega’, ‘Nainon Ka Ye Rona’ and ‘Tu Baithe Mere Samne’.
