Mumbai: Aarey colony is in discussions in the country for the past few days. Prohibitory orders were imposed in this area of Goregaon in view of the protests of tree cutting. But now Section 144 has been removed from this colony. The trees present in this area were obstructing the functioning of the metro rail service. The police took this step in view of the return of peace and normalcy in the area. The cutting of these trees was fiercely opposed here and the matter is now in the Supreme Court.
