Indore: A shocking incident has come to light from Indore in Madhya Pradesh in which it has become difficult for a tenant to put up a picture of PM Narendra Modi. In fact, a tenant has alleged that his landlord is threatening him if he put up prime minister Modi's picture and is constantly articulating him to remove the photo. He said the landlord had given her two options – either remove the PM's picture, or vacate the room. The victim's name is Yusuf. According to the tenant, the landlord has threatened him to either remove the picture or vacate the house, otherwise, he will kill him. Hearing this, his mother suffered a heart attack. He is admitted to the hospital.

The same shocking case came to light at a public hearing of the police commissioner in Indore on Tuesday. In the afternoon, a man arrived here with an application. He said he lives in a rented house in Peergali and has put a photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his house. The tenant's name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan. He said he has been living on rent in the houses of Sharif Mansoori, Yakub Mansoori and Sultan Mansoori in Peergali for many years. Yusuf said, "I have been threatened by the three brothers to vacate the house if Modi's picture is put up. It is also said that if the photo is not removed, they will throw away the household items.''

Yusuf says that I am influenced by PM Modi's ideology. I'm reading his articles too. I am also involved in the activities of the union, this is not liked by my landlord. Yusuf also accused the police of harassing him. After hearing the complaint of the complainant, senior officers present in the public hearing have directed the concerned SHO to conduct an inquiry. Additional DCP Manisha Pathak Soni said, "A man came to the public hearing, he said that he had put the PM's picture in his house, due to which the landlord is harassing him. This is his right to freedom of expression, the police will ensure necessary action.'' Yusuf also said that his family has been living in the same house in Peergali in Indore for 35 years. He lives with his parents, two brothers and two children. His family works as a readymade. The landlord has been harassing them for the past 15 days, after which he submitted an application in the public hearing on Tuesday after submitting the application at the police station.
