Testing Renault India's facelift avatar of its Duster Compact SUV has been doing the last few days. This time the SUV has been fully seen in the western Himalayas-Zoji La pass during testing and the company did not keep it covered. The SUV is fitted with a temp registration plate, which is seen on the test cars of Renault and Nissan. The Duster has made a lot of stylish changes as this facelift variants. With the new grill in the front end of the car, there are new Saruds and alloy wheels given to chrome plating, revised fog lamp housing, tail lamps. Also the shift in the fabric and interior trims can be seen in the inside seat of the car.

To tell your information that the company will give the same engine with the first generation Duster in the new Duster i.e. its engine won't change. However, the first generation SUV has been shut down in the overseas market and has been relocated from the new model. Renault may be able to launch its second mass-Duster in India for at least another year, and the SUV can come in as a facelift in India. Talking about the facelift version of the current generation Duster, it can be provided with a 1.6 liter petrol engine with two gearbox options 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic. The petrol motor generates a power of 104bhp and 140Nm of torque. The same engine can be seen in the Feslift model as well.
The company also has a 1.5-liter K9K turbocharged diesel engine in the Duster which is available in two states of tune-85 BHP-200 Nm and 108 Bhp-240 Nm. Comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox with low states. That's where more states come with a 6-speed manual and AMT option. In addition Renault will keep its Duster's all-wheel drive variants released with 1.5-liter diesel and 6-speed manuals.
