The launch of the new Karo in the festive season has begun in the market and now Renault has launched the facelift model of its popular small car Kwid. Its starting ex-showroom price is 2.83 lakh rupees. The new Renault Kwid has been launched in 5 variant levels, including Standard, RxE, RxL, RTX (O) and Climber. As before, the new Kwid has also come in 2 petrol engine options. Booking of facelift quid has started. This new car can be booked from the company's website for 5 thousand rupees.

Talking about its design and features, the styling of the updated Kwid is derived from Renault's electric car City XK-E. It has a split headlamp setup like the MG Hector and Tata Harrier SUV. The LED DRLs are next to the grille of the car, while the main headlamp unit is in the front bumper below it. The older model had a honeycomb pattern grille, while the new Kwid has a new triple slats grill. The facelift Kwid's bumper is also of a new design, which gives the car a sporty look.

There have been changes in the rear look of the new Kwid. It has been given a new rear bumper, new light reflectors and new LED elements in the tail light. Apart from this, the top variant of the car, ie front and bank in the clamber will get Fox skid plates, roof rails, gunmetal grey alloy wheels and orange highlights. The design of the updated Kwid's dashboard has been tweaked. It has a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new steering wheel. The touchscreen infotainment system is derived from the company's recently launched compact MPV Tribor. The new Kwid features a digital instrument cluster with a timber, which includes a tachometer. Apart from this, the door pad has also undergone mild changes with the new seat fabric in the updated Kwid.

The top models of the facelift Kwid include features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 14-inch alloy wheels, LED DRL, manual AC and rear center armrest. All variants of the car have driver-side airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminder, speed alert system and reverse parking sensors features. The front passenger-side airbag is also provided in the climber variant.
