Actress Charu Asopa is wed to Rajeev Sen, the brother of Sushmita. Charu and Rajeev wed on June 9, 2019, following a few years of dating. Early in 2021, the couple announced they were expecting, and on November 1, their daughter Ziana was born. They recently made headlines when the actress revealed that they were splitting up. Charu and Rajeev finally decided to give their marriage a second chance for their daughter Ziana after experiencing many ups and downs.

Since then, as they celebrate the Ganesh Festival together, Charu and Rajeev have been treating their fans to adorable family photos. Today, Charu posted a video to her Instagram account in which the actress can be seen dancing to a song about Lord Ganesh next to the idol of Ganpati Bappa while looking stunning in blue ethnic wear. One of Charu's complaints about Rajeev is that he forbids her from sharing pictures of her daughter on social media. He holds the "superstition" that Ziana will be cursed, which Charu rejects. She further stated that her mother and sister back Rajeev rather than her in this situation. Charu also mentioned that Rajeev would not have approved of her leaving work and that he is "never available" for his family. However, Charu and Rajeev have reconciled after many issues in their relationship.
