According to media reports, the company is working to add Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI to WhatsApp Pay. This service will be launched in the market by the end of May. On the other hand, WhatsApp Pay will be available for users in the first phase along with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. In the second phase, this service will be supported by SBI Bank.

WhatsApp Pay has been running for two years
WhatsApp has been available on the beta version of WhatsApp for the last two years. However, the company has faced many problems during testing, due to which the launch of this service has been delayed. Earlier, another report came out stating that WhatsApp Pay had received approval from NPCI.
