Gorakhpur: It is known to all of us that we celebrate Republic Day on 26 January, that is why our Constitution came into force today, while keeping in mind this occasion of Republic Day, the police has made all preparations. Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat will hoist the flag at 9 am today in the Municipal Corporation ground near the Saraswati Shishu Mandir Senior Secondary School Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar. Its preparations have been completed. This will be the first time that the RSS chief will live in Gorakhpur on Republic Day. He will also interact directly with the students of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Senior Secondary School. His stay will be till 27 January 2020.

According to the information received, Republic Day will be celebrated with great pomp in police lines. Its preparation was completed on Saturday itself. According to the information received from the SSP office, programs will start at 9 am at the parade ground of police lines. At 9:38, Chief Guest ADG Zone Dawa Sherpa will observe the parade. Meritorious service honors, mark and citation will be given at 10:45 am. There will be cultural programs from 11 am.
