New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced to make the facility of Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) available 24 hours a day from tomorrow. This service will be available to customers around the clock from 12.30 am tonight. You will be able to transfer money through RTGS anytime. This service will work for seven days.

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das says that in the crisis period of Corona epidemic, online transactions have increased significantly. In view of this, the Reserve Bank of India has taken this big decision. With the launch of this facility, India will join the select countries where this service works for 24 hours. RTGS service under which a large amount of money is sent. This facility was introduced by RBI in March 2004 for its customers. This service was started with only three banks and 237 banks are connected to this service.

RTGS can transfer unlimited money. This facility has been given to those people who want to send money from one bank to another in a large number of days. With this service, you can transfer unlimited money from your account. There are two ways to do RTGS, one is you can do RTGS in an offline way and second you can use this service online also.
