Kiev: Ukraine, which is facing attacks from Russia, has now apologized to India for its petty act. Ukraine's First Deputy Foreign Minister Emin Zhaparova has tweeted about posting the controversial picture of Maa Kali. Expressing regret over the whole matter, he said that Ukraine and its people respect Indian culture. He has termed his friendship with India as determined.

In fact, recently two pictures were posted in a collage on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on its Twitter handle. One had a picture of a bomb blast during the war, which was compared to the controversial picture of Maa Kali. Social media users were infuriated after Ukraine shared this picture. Sharing the screenshot of this picture posted by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, many Indian people criticized the Ukrainian government a lot.

Many Indian users even urged External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to intervene in the matter. The Ukraine Defense Ministry quickly deleted the post after a massive backlash, but by then the post had been shared by many. After facing huge protests and anger over this whole episode, an apologetic reaction has emerged from Ukraine.
