New Delhi:  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has received wrath on social media for his recent comments on making 'The Kashmir Files' tax-free in the state, stated on Saturday that the money earned should be used for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits and efforts should be made to bring them back home.

"Since the migration of Kashmiri Pandits 25 years ago, the BJP has been in power at the centre for 13 years. Even though the BJP administration has been in power for the past eight years, not a single Kashmiri Pandit has returned. The atrocities committed by Kashmiri Pandits were politicised by the BJP. They are now generating money by making films about their tragedy. The film Kashmir Files made almost Rs 200 crores "During a press conference today, Kejriwal stated.

He further stated that the film should be streamed for everybody to see on YouTube. "They should broadcast it on YouTube for everybody to see. The money raised should go toward the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits, as well as efforts to reunite them with their families "he said.

In his statement to the legislature on Thursday, Kejriwal accused the BJP of promoting "The Kashmir Files" and mentioned the demand of party leaders in Delhi to make it tax-free. He said that if the BJP wants people to see the film, it should be uploaded to YouTube.
