New Delhi: Sharad Yadav president of Janta Dal United called for repealing the sedition law in the country saying it may ‘divide the nation’.

Yadav tweet “Sedition law enforced in colonial era needs to be repealed in our country... using this on youth and students will divide the nation”.

Since the students of the Jawaharlal Nehru University were alleged raising anti-national slogans on the campus, there has been a lot of debate over the sedition law.
