In Sushant Singh Rajput case, the drugs angle is being investigated and Rhea has been arrested in the case. She is in jail at this time. As soon as Rhea was arrested, Bollywood Celebes came out in her support. So far Bollywood Celebes were sitting silent but suddenly everyone started supporting Rhea. Celebes have written a letter after seeing the media trials fo Rhea. Many Bollywood Celebes have objected to the Media's behaviour for Rhea. The signatories to this letter include the names of many Celebes like Sonam Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Joya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap etc. 

Published on a blog called Feminist Voice, the letter includes Anurag Kashyap, Gauri Shinde, Joya Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor, Rasika Duggal, Amrita Subhash, Mini Mathur, Dia Mirza and about 2500 others. Besides this, 60 organizations have also supported the letter.

Dear News India's Media,

"We, are worried about you. Are you feeling ok?" It stated that you have assassinated her character, egged an online mob on demonising her and her family, fuelled wrongful demands and called her arrest your victory".

"Pushed and shoved by media crews, with no regard for social distancing, have drawn widespread condemnation''. "Endlessly violate her privacy and work overtime on false accusations and moralistic innuendo for a drama of 'Rhea ko Phasao'

"Because, when we see the media accusing Rhea Chakraborty, we do not understand why you have abandoned every professional morality of journalism. You are engaged in attacking a woman by taking cameras instead of maintaining human reality and dignity. You are violating her privacy and working day and night on false charges. You have become obsessed with creating only one story".

"A young woman who makes her own decisions, who lives with her boyfriend without marriage and who speaks for herself rather than acting as a worker in distress. Without investigation, without the process of law, she is assumed to be a criminal. We have seen your kind and respectable attitude in the case of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, but when it comes to a woman who has committed a crime, it has not yet been proved, you are repeatedly attacking her character. You are provoking people on social media to target her and her family". 

In this case, after the drugs angle surfaced in Sushant case, the NCB had arrested Showik Chakraborty and Sushant's manager Samuel Miranda, Deepesh Sawant before Rhea.
