Ranchi: Richa Bharati, a student accused of posting a controversial post against Islam on Facebook, has been granted bail on the condition of distributing a copy of the 5th Quran. In the first condition, the student will have to give a copy of the remaining four Korans to Anjuman Islamia of Pithoria tomorrow within 15 days in any library in Ranchi.

In fact, the student Richa was arrested from Pithoria police station for posting a controversial post on Islam on Facebook. Since then there have been fierce protests for his release. The complaint was lodged by both the parties at Pithoria police station in this case. The two sides reached a mutual agreement on Sunday after which the two sides were persuaded. The court has held that Richa Bharati is a student studying, which is not motivated by any religion or political spirit. The court today granted bail to Richa after hearing arguments from both sides.

While the disputed post against a particular religion on Facebook widened the distance between the two communities, the court granted conditional bail to the student in the case. The court's decision will again help in uniting the two communities somewhere.
