Richa Chadha corners Nawazuddin Siddiqui for doing Thackeray biopic dubbing him bipolar

The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Thackeray, a biopic on Bal Thackeray out a couple of days back and had landed into controversy due to some objectionable dialogues in it. The Hindi trailer was nice-looking and diluted it was the Marathi trailer that was reported to have major concerns of CBFC. Not just that, Tamil actor Siddharth had taken objection over some dialogues in the Marathi trailer which he asserted were anti-South Indians.

And  Earlier a day Nawazuddin's Gangs of Wasseypur co-star Richa Chadha  trained a gun at him in a Twitter post. Tweeting in a obscure manner using his screen name Faisal from Gangs of Wasseypur, Richa said, "अरे ई हमरा फैजल तो बाईपोलर निकला बे !" (Oh my Faizal turned out to be bipolar).

It seems the taunt at Nawaz is because of the role he is playing in the forthcoming film as compared to the one he played in his last movie Manto.

For those who are unconscious, in Manto, Nawazuddin played Saadat Hasan Manto, a progressive writer who is well-known for his thought-provoking stories and penned a number of stories about the partition as well and now in his very next Hindi movie Thackeray, he is playing a controversial political leader Bal Thackeray who was well thought-out an extremist by many.
