On July 10, Napoleon's trailer was released by Sony Pictures and Apple TV+. This film, which is set in 1793, explores Napoleon's ascent to power. The movie is a "grand action epic" that "chronicles the remarkable life of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte," according to the official logline.

In this grand historical drama, Joaquin Phoenix collaborates with his Gladiator director as the lead actor portraying Napoleon Bonaparte of France. The movie depicts Napoleon's ascent and his relationship with Empress Joséphine.

Beginning in France in 1793, the trailer was released on YouTube on 10 July by Sony Pictures and Apple TV+. The historical epic follows Napoleon's rise to power, his turbulent relationship with Josephine, and his conquest of the kingdom. The movie shows us how they both met, and as Napoleon gains more authority over the years, he gradually develops into a despot. "I am destined for greatness. But those in power will only see me as a sword," he says. The stunning trailer ends with a scene where Napolean commands to shoot an army of soldiers who realise that they are walking on frost.

The acclaimed Ridley Scott-directed film Napoleon depicts Napoleon's enthralling rise and fall against a breathtaking landscape. It displays his innovative military and political initiatives. Napoleon, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Vanessa Kirby, Tahar Rahim, Jodie Comer, Edouard Philipponnat, and others, is slated for release on November 22, 2023. Following its global theatrical debut, this film will also be streamable on Apple TV+.
